Modeling an Attic Vent in Modo.by gary M

his video tutorial on Modeling an Attic Vent in Modo you can not comment on so ill comment here

this is referring to the part about hexagon you was talking about

this is how to move all the objects at once in hexagon

i used multiplie copies with clone on
then CTRL + A to select all faces or Edges or points

You are the man and your tuts are so good. You are right in that you can move multiple obj's but they must all be clones/seperate objs. Nevertheless, I am sure some will find this extremely helpful.........thanks :D

i had the feeling modo was giving you a fit while watching the vid
looks like you have to use and remember a lot of hot keys to do a simple job

That is very nice resources for modeling attic vents. You've got a very nice video tutorial that could really a help for us. Thanks for that.

I couldn't resist testing that in Cinema 4D and you can do the same. In the Rotate tool properties, Modeling Axis tab, use the "selected" mode, orientation "normal" and check the "Along Normals" option. No need to create separate objects, it works just like in Modo. :wink:
