With the ability of Vue to render graphics in multiple layers, one can use them in nice flash presentations.
First we need to create scenery in Vue. Keep in mind that the scenery needs to be created in separate layers when we are rendering.
For example, in the current project I created four layers.
The first front view has big trees on the side.
The second view was of the ground in front of the castle. If you add some trees or bushes there, when the layers move in flash one will see a nice motion perspective.
The third layer has the castle with some trees around it.
And the fourth layer contains the background with trees and sky.
To do this, you sort the items you want in each view into a layer. When you have the views you want in their layers, you render each layer individually by right clicking on all but the intended layer and selecting the "do not render" option from there. Now do this for each layer, and you've created a stereoscopic landscape.
When you save the rendered layers be sure to use the TIFF format with alpha layer enabled, except for your background layer, the sky, which should save as a JPG image. I rendered all images with a resolution of 1600x800, but you can chose your own. You need only to change the image information and some other settings in the flash file.
To explain how to make moving layers in Flash 8, so that your new stereoscopic image will be dynamic, will take one more tutorial. I included the FLA file in the download, so that if you are interested you can look at an example. Or you can just render your own images, import them in to flash, and create your own movie.
In the end you can create a nice, unique flash animation.
